During this time my own Reiki practice and time spent on self-care has been very limited and although I didn’t feel as if I needed additional support, apparently I did!

I have known Tina for many years and she’s a really beautiful superhero, following the same school of The Golden Reiki Way that I know to be beautiful, sincere and full of love. Her email about her Reiki Full Moon Distant Healing just sparked something in me to do for myself, to just simply be and give myself time and give thanks for all the blessings that have shown themselves during the pandemic. It also made me sit down and look at how I really don’t look after myself as much as I’d like to, always rushing about and doing for others. This would be time for me, some self-care.

The day before I noticed small things, not answering ‘yes’ to requests immediately, taking time to consider the impact on a planned day and therefore taking me off track. On the day of the Reiki healing, I took some time out in the morning to give myself a self-Reiki treatment and a facial, the day took on a very serene feel, just comfy and cosy, feeling nurtured, I know the work Tina was doing was having an effect.

At around 10pm having set up my room and lit a candle I sat down and read for a while before ceremony began and I began to meditate. The feeling of the meditation was absolutely beautiful, very calming and nurturing, I lost track of time, sitting quietly and allowing myself to feel the energy before I went to bed. On going to bed, I fell into a deep sleep, and woke the following morning, feeling just wonderful, when I looked in the mirror my cheeks were pink and I looked happy and relaxed.

The days that followed were just really nice, I felt protected, had long phone discussions with both of my daughters, always wonderful, communication appearing really easy and very natural, subjects we don’t normally talk about being discussed. I noticed that projects I’d been working on falling into place in a way that they appeared so simple and harmonious.

I would recommend working with Tina in this way and also to receive treatments to see what clears away and then comes. Sometimes to heal is hard, we all resist as we become so attached to the way we’ve always done things. If you’re wanting change, working with Reiki just simply helps to re-key in a gentle and supportive way without becoming overwhelmed.

I have heard of Reiki before and was always keen to try it. I signed up immediately without even realising it will be done remotely so I was apprehensive of its effectiveness, but I have been coming back continuously ever since the first session. Why? I’ve been fortunate to receive Reiki from Tina as part of her Full Moon Distant Healing Circles a couple of times. I love that by taking part a donation is made that plants a tree, and that more recently money was donated to the Ukraine Red Cross Appeal (it feels important to me that companies nowadays take socially responsible action, and very important too that they actively take steps to care for our planet).

My personal response after taking part in this latest Healing Circle has been to enjoy increased energy, plus a wonderful sense of renewed confidence.

There have also been other, more personal shifts, in my wellbeing since that have felt deeply healing & I’m very appreciative of them.

Tina’s Reiki Moon Healings are beautiful and special experiences. She creates a soft, nurturing space in which to relax, release and recharge, wherever you are.

You can choose to engage with the session in whatever way suits you: meditating, doing yoga in the moonlight, having a bath, or just sleeping! She also provides a supportive framework of a Journal in which to record thoughts and experiences prior to and following the sessions, and she reaches out after the session sending thanks and feedback.

The Distant Healing Full Moon Circle lead by Tina Cooney was magnificent! Following a challenging week I felt the need for support. Once I’d signed up, I gave myself some time out from chores and work to stretch and enjoy some gentle yoga. My experience of the healing circle started immediately and I felt connected to a gentle flowy energy that was so relaxing and earthy!

I was able to release all the tensions I’d been holding onto whilst stretching and in yoga poses. It felt super feminine and was just what I needed.

All weekend I felt flowy and lovely, clearer views presented themselves as my thoughts around some troublesome issues lightened. Good vibes all round! I'm sure my husband and son also appreciated it.

I always get extra energy and a sense of purpose in the week afterwards. It's good having a series of three - a bit like a beginning, middle and an end, when the going got tough I knew it was a journey that was going to end better than it began.

Having not tried Reiki, I was not sure what to expect, especially with it being carried out remotely. From receiving the first email from Tina a week or so earlier, I was aware of changes in myself, becoming more open to things including my emotions.

On the night of the Full Moon Distant Healing, I found the immediate results to be a feeling of profound relaxation and a wonderful night’s sleep.

Since then the effects have grown like a flowing river, pushing me along to be more confident and fearless to carry out the work that I really want to do.

I feel that this first treatment has taken me back to a fresh start, almost like being a child again. I have certainly been much more willing to try and fail at things, and sometimes even succeed.
